Decision finally made... after trying on a ton of options over the weekend I finally opted for the Furygan James D3O. Very stylish looking, good ventilation, ticked the required protection box and felt very comfortable. They also gave me 20% off because I’m buying a bike from them so win win!

Thanks for all your pointers and thoughts folks. As always it was really useful :)

Great choice. They look really nice ?
Thanks.

Whilst I’m not overly convinced they will last too long and won’t be suitable for anything but sunny days, I figure with an inner glove and heated grips they will cover most of my needs.

For the colder days encountered I’ve just been gifted a brand new pair of Klim Element gloves that are far beyond my required needs but will come in handy at some point I’m sure :grin2:

In addition to my Dane goretex winter gloves I've got a pair of "Speed" and a pair of "Sprint" gloves from 78 Motor Co. Nice retro style, super comfortable and the customer service is excellent.

These are nice looking. I almost rolled my eyes when seeing this thread, thinking that I just grab whatever I have available that will fit the weather/temps. More of function than of style. Yet, style sure looks good and if they are comfortable, they are worth it.

I've got a couple pair of Aerostich Elk Skin Ropers that I LOVE. They're cool in the summer, warm in the chilly, and the feel of the leather is FANTASTIC. I bought my first pair a couple years ago, they've got about 20k miles on them, and they're still going strong.

The look/style is exactly what I'm looking for & they're the most comfortable gloves I've ever purchased.

Worth every penny. :2cents:

HUGE shoutout to the Aerostich gloves. Just got a pair of black ones and went through the break in procedure. I have a feeling these will be the only gloves I will buy until I die.:surprise:

Thank you for the lead!

I really like Held motorcycle gloves. That said, I don't know what their current offerings are because I have been using the same pair of Held gloves for the last twenty years. :smile2:

Hi Gents,

I must confess finding gloves to fit me well is a nightmare. I have very small hand and normally end up going to the hardware store to find some ladies light leather gardening gloves. However I'm pleased to say a couple of weeks back I found these at the Triumph dealership and love them. After a couple of days they wore in nice and feel great to wear. Just lightweight leather riding gloves but these suite me just fine.

Cheerio,

Roy

For this time around, I wanted gloves without Velcro. IMO, Velcro cheapens the look... sort of why you never see Velcro on dress shoes.
I also don’t like Velcro as it has a tendency to fail and not hold after a while.
I went with Belstaff gloves for this summer season. They are made from very supple leather and are very comfortable (even in 36c heat).

I wear Klim Mojave Pros when it's hot outside, and Scorpion Exo Klaw II gloves when the temps are lower. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the 78 Motor Co Sprint gloves after my ride is smoothed out by a new rear shock. Priorities :grin2:

DeerTours® - Lee Parks Design

I got these as a Christmas present from my wife. They are the most comfortable gloves I have had to date. Made of deer skin which is incredibly soft and flexible. They can even be washed without causing any harm to the material.
been looking for a new pair of riding gloves so thanks for the recommendation! i looked into these and they look pretty awesome and well designed (also love that they are made in the usa which is kinda rare these days). i just placed an order for the deertours gloves and if i like them, i'll definitely consider getting a pair of the warmer insulated pci version for colder riding. they do cost a bit, but don't mind spending the extra money if it's a quality product.

I was just about to say I have a pair of Held Summer gloves, bit racy looking (but black backs) but with Kangaroo hide palms. They are sooo comfortable, but weren't cheap... I shall be going in that direction for Winter gloves as well...

The Held summer gloves are a bit racy looking. The winter gloves with tan palms and black tops are outstanding. I bought a second pair years ago but I have not used them because I am still using the first pair.

I have several big plastic boxes of motorcycle gloves. Last night I went through them. I found a pair of Olympia gloves that just covered the palms. I must have thought they were really cool gloves back in the day. :| They do look a little bad ass. :wink2:
