Sorry to drag this thread on and on, but I thought it correct to report my ride with the Adventure Skiveez on my GSA after rendering them unnecessary with my Bobbers Corbin seat.

Well, I can report they work GREAT with my Touratech seat. Support in the right areas, raise and “cant” by body just enough to take any pressure of my tailbone and cushion my sitzbone (bum bone?) just enough to relieve any hot spots. The underwear definitely need time to break in, but this is the third time I’m wearing them (after washing :)) and they are feeling much better than the first use.

Overall, very pleased and next week I’ll try out the cruisers with the same set up to compare the two.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Looking at the reviews, im gonna have to drop some beer tokens on them, hope they cure my main riding issue, numb manbits lol

I had forgotten a couple of you guys are running the Corbin seat... in all fairness comfort isn’t going to get much better than with one of those tender lovin cupping bad boys in situ! :smile2:

It’ll be interesting to learn if those with the less supporting standard Triumph seat options find the Skiveez as beneficial as I have?!

Eisen... great to hear you’ve found benefit in them whilst on the GS... but I can’t help but wonder... you did take them off of your head before taking the Bobber out... right?! >:)

Mike - it was a like for like test. I made sure to drive around the block with the skiveez on my head at least 10 times before discretely moving them south :grin2:
Indeed they work better when used in the recommended location ;)

I really want to try out the skiveez with the Statement seat. But it’s just started to thunder & rain here, so it’ll have to be next week...

Well I was told to never trust a man with a pair of pants on his head... but in your case I’ll not make an exception >:):wink2:

It would be interesting to see how you get on with that torture device of a seat, it’s surely the ultimate test?! :nerd:

Hahaha! Especially a man who wears TWO pairs of pants on his head :wink2:

I’ve got to say that I really liked the Statement seat and it only becomes a torture rack after extended miles - something the skiveez may help a lot with. I also think the statement is still the best looking seat available (so far) for the Bobber.

**Taken my Statement seat off the FS section. Can’t/won’t part with it if the Skiveez work

I have to second that on the 'statement' seat.

I had mine fitted from new, so don't know any different as the original is in my 'box of bits'. I love the look of the statement (although the name is a bit crappy) seat and for my preference really adds to the overall look of the bike.

I too will probably invest in a pair of these jazzy 'y-fronts' for longer trips. But must confess since fitting my footboards the comfort with the statement has improved somewhat.

Cheerio,

Roy
