My levers came in today so I fitted them right away. Short: these levers are a perfect fit on the Bobber. Fit and finish is nice and they’re OEM so no warranty concerns. I got the short levers because I like to keep my pinkies on the bar and usually brake or clutch with only two or three fingers (sport bike habit). These levers are lighter and thinner than stock. Aesthetically they make the bike feel skinnier and I like the discreet branding. I’m most happy that they were only $41.

Before and after pictures attached.

Dang for 41 bucks , I’m getting me a set

After a day of riding, I like these short levers better than the stock ones. Aesthetically they don’t fit the retro look of the bike but they do look very bling - maybe a more modern retro look. The ease of two finger actuation is better. The levers are also more similar in shape than the stock levers which seemed like they came from two different bikes.

There doesn't seem to be an 'add to cart' or purchase/checkout function? I'm in the USA, how do I get these for $41? They seem perfect for what I want.

NOT so fast.
Ordered them and got this mail:

Hello, unfortunately, this item is no longer available from Triumph so we will no longer be able to fill this order. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we will have to cancel and refund this order. I did double check your VIN though and these were not for your bike. They actually do not make any levers from Triumph (accessory-wise) for this bike. Thanks

I Replied:
Hi, Another Bobber owner just ordered these from you a week or two ago. He installed them and they work perfectly. Are you certain they don't make them anymore?

And from the merchant:
Hello, yes sorry I am positive. We had a few sets here that we had here a long time and the guy last week got the last ones. Sorry!

Dammit! LOL, Any other ideas on where to get these? They look perfect and even better (as well as less expensive) than the ones from TEC Bike Parts.

The short Triumph levers are great. I recently rode a stock Bobber Black and definitely prefer my shorter levers. In conjunction with my sprocket changes, the bike launches much better/faster than before.

You could try other triumph dealers that may have NOS or see if bikebandit can source it. Otherwise, as Brian said, you should be able to order the TEC ones for less from AliExpress.

Ordered from BikeBandit, they refunded saying the mfr. doesnt make them anymore.
Any other ideas?
What is AliExpress? Is it less expensive than just ordering off rhe TEC bike parts website?

Sorry to hear that. These are great levers. AliExpress is the Chinese eBay. The TEC levers and mirrors appear to be Chinese sourced and you can get them much cheaper than TEC (without the logo).

That'd be fine by me, but so many knock offs! Know which is the closest to the TEC ones? Or at least ones which won't have the anodizing wear off after a month?

I've had Chinese levers on several bikes including the Bobber. They are well made and the finish has never worn off. There is no reason to spend more and not get anything in return. There was a time when the world looked down on Japanese products yet today they make superior equipment. China has improved manufacturing quality in many areas and their mc levers are very good. Try a pair you might be surprised.

Can you recommend a merchant for what you have? There seem to be millions of choices on eBay and whatnot.

I checked my eBay order history and the vendor is no longer listed. The link kilyung listed is as good as all the rest, For $20.00 I'd take the chance. Make sure the clutch side has the longer leg in the front.

Hey Chico,
What’s the longer leg for on the clutch lever?
There is a switch next to the "wheel" adjuster, I'm not sure what it's purpose is perhaps it's for starting the bike. The little leg releases the plunger in the switch when the lever is engaged. See pics.

Ah, I thought you were referring to something else. That switch is the starter clutch safety. It’s what makes the bike not start without the clutch being pulled in.

My clutch lever does not engage the switch so I can start the bike without pulling in the clutch. Many Triumph owners will disable that switch for ease of starting. It may also be used as a cruise control disengagement sensor for when the clutch is pulled in but I don’t use the clutch to disengage the cruise control - I brake or blip the throttle.
