I’m not 2pop, but I did install the TEC progressive fork springs that Michael had recommended last year and they work great! I installed them myself with a helper to hold the fork steady as I compressed the spring with the fork cap. The TEC’s are about half the price of the Wilbers and since install I can actually see the fork compress at sharp bumps, like tar strips, etc., something I never could see with the OEM springs. Still doesn’t float over bumps like my Beemer, but it’s enough of an improvement with the Coc kit that I can ride the Bobber regularly without fear of bone crushing jolts.
Thanks!

If you're set on keeping the stock or Statement seat, upgrading the rear shock is the better long-term fix. The CoC springer kit helps with comfort by adding cushioning, but a quality aftermarket shock (like Ă–hlins or Hagon) improves both ride quality and handling something the springer can't do.

That said, if you mostly care about seat comfort and don’t push the bike hard, the springer kit is a cheaper, simpler solution. But for all-around improvement, the shock upgrade is worth the extra cash. Either way, you’ll notice a big difference over stock.

This might be a silly question, but I can't believe I'm the first one to ask it...

Has anyone tried putting a couple rubber washers between the frame and the seat bracket and the top mounting bolt? It would raise the seat height and change the angle slightly but those seem like benefits to me.

Just something that occurred to me while I was adjusting the seat today.

Yes - before fitting the CoC on my 2020 BB. Back in the day several people on here did it. There is a limit to how thick you can go (not very thick) before the angle is too large for the bolt to still engage.

...and don't drop a washer - they are a nightmare to find again ! 🤣

This is what I did but with an aluminum spacer slightly cut at an angle on one side with a height of around 7 to 8mm. The tightening nut takes all the threads well.
I have gained about 20mm at the rear of the saddle and my position is much better and also more aesthetic.

I replaced the springs inn my T-120 and it's not hard, just be sure you let the oil drip for awhile so you don't lose too much and you'll be fine.

greetings all, first ride with the CoC V2 fitted and blimey what an improvement in ride quality !!!! all the jarring has gone and a great floaty feel :) fitted ok with the MShock upside down and rotated 180, real value for money and much recommended !!! thanks Michael
i'd already added this to the seat which was a big help Motorcycle Seat Pads | Dan Medica South Ltd so now its just the forks to improve.....

Hello Bobbers,
Im interested in the front spring replacement upgrade, do the shocks need to removed from the bike
to replace the springs?
Thanks
No, you don’t need to remove the forks. I replaced mine with TEC Progressive springs. If you're mechanically inclined and detail oriented, you’ll have no problem doing it yourself with a helper.

Here’s a link.

May I ask what is the recommended type and spring rate. (What is TEC?)
The TEC springs are for the original Bobber's 41mm forks. If you have a bike with the 47mm forks, Wilbers has you covered:

Chip, Good catch there! Yes, the TEC progressive fork springs only fit the standard Bobber with the 41mm fork.
I didn’t notice the Bobber Black application.
