At the end of the day, everyone buys a bike they like, now unless you have a spare 30k laying about, a totally custom build is out of the question so you have to compromise.

Then mod the bits you dont like.

I'm fairly sure if you pop the bars up on risers for clerance, add a mini subframe in place of the current tank and go grab a 8 gallon fatbob, there will be some way of getting it fixed on but **** it's gonna handle like a Harley or even a V-Max with blown shocks BUT you will be able to ride it for miles at a time.

It's all a compromise, me, I live in the Uk so I really dont think there is anywhere south of Perth I'll have an issue, north of Perth especially out West (Lochaber and Highlands and Islands), yep I'll have to plan a bit and make sure that petrol stations that existed when i lived up there or I'm silly enought to think even half will be open on a Sunday......are still there or im in for a long recovery wait!
