Just bought and installed a pair of Ebay shorty levers after reading recommendations on here, took it for a ride to work this morning and made a world of difference- at least for me anyway! ÂŁ15 as opposed to ÂŁ150 from Triumph, who can complain ?

Do you have cruise control on your bike and/or do your new levers have the switch actuator? This is the only thing stopping me from giving some of the ebay ones a whirl.

I have the BB with Cruise control and it works exactly as it should

as I already said in this thread https://www.triumphbobberforum.com/...393-suspension-brakes/16003-v-trec-aftermarket-levers-not-working-properly.html not only the brake levers have to fit it's also the clutch lever. The cheap chinese one I fitted did not press the switch in on the clutch handlebar bit so the fuel gauge was not working correctly. The German supplier told my by e-mail today that he'll send a different adapter, maybe this helps.
Apart from that much more confidence while braking the OEM Triumph levers are too thick and not near enough to the handlebar and I do not have small hands

I just ordered the ones Chico reccomended. I'll report back when I know.

No, they DO NOT. No, they WILL NOT.
Looking at the pics provided the answer is yes.
Chico
The CORRECT answer is NO.
As I stated before, I have cc and if you order the ones with the longer "nub" they work well and the quality and finish is very good.

Chico
Again, the *correct* answer is NO, these levers ordered from "Exotic Motorsport" on eBay WILL NOT WORK. The picture you have posted is of the BRAKE lever, not the CLUTCH lever

Bobbers with a clutch/start cancel and/or cruise control actuator switch will need levers with a nub which will actuate the switch. Otherwise, they will not work.

Great! Can you give me a link, or tell me the exact merchant on eBay?

I have cruise control so the Triumph levers I had didn’t work. Too bad as they were very nicely machined and quality parts. I ordered a cheap set from AliExpress (link in previous post) as a replacement. While they’re not as well finished as the Triumph branded levers, they work just fine and look nice. Definitely an improvement over stock. I also installed aftermarket mirrors - smaller and shorter than stock.

I'm happy for you oatmeal! Can you post some pics for the non believers?

Chico
Yep. It's true. I wrote the seller prior and they assured me it was a new design and would fit a 2018 BB

They look great and feel WAY better than the stock ones. With such a low cost, I wonder why they weren't included as originals or at least options...
