Here’s my first attempt at covering the headlight with yellow tint. I did it by spraying the back/sticky side of the tint with water and then using a bank, I just pushed the water and bubbles out whilst using a heat gun every now and then. The finish isn’t perfect but it’s good enough for me to leave on for a few days to see if I really like it or not. My first impression is that it really suits the dark tones on the BB and is well in keeping with the bikes look.

How does it look with the DLR on then ?

I've heard it suggested that a yellow headlight makes a bike more noticeable to drivers. With so many cars running DRLs these days motorcycle headlights just aren't noticed - so a yellow one stands out. Though I've also noticed that the Bobber headlight wobbles a bit which also attracts drivers' attention. I see it when I'm approaching a reflective sign, you can see the light vibrating.
