Hi,

I'm picking up my new Bobber on Saturday (it's like Xmas waiting for it to arrive!) and a colleague swears by using ACF 50 to protect a new bike.

Have any of you guys or girls applied it? If so do you use it on the exhaust as well (I don't want it to dull the chrome) or on the chain? I know not to use it on the tyres, brakes etc. but want to make sure it doesn't negatively impact the look of the bike.

Also, what products do you recommend (I'm in the UK if that matters) for applying to the chrome parts after cleaning?

Cheers,
Rob

ACF50 everything except the chain and disc's/calipers - ACF-50 Corrosion Control for Motorcycles

You are looking for a THIN coating, use a stiff brush for nooks and crannies and a cloth to spread it about, if you pop the cloth in a ziplock it will stay impregnated (oooerrrrr) for ages. I tend to apply ACF in autumn then wash it off at the start of summer.
