For anyone wondering if its possible to strip and polish the sprocket and engine covers on the bobber black, it is. A f****n nightmare but doable. I did the exhaust headers too.

What I used:

• Paint stripper and a steel brush and steel wool
• Thinners
• Wet and dry sand paper (280, 360, 600, 1500, 2000)
• A benchtop grinder with a scoth brite wheel, straw wheel and polishing fabric wheel, with cutting compound and rouge
• Dremmel with wire brush and scotch brite heads
• Heaps of god **** spare time

Nice, I can see the extra polish on the top of the engine, and the covers are mirrors. Must've taken a while

I had mine Bright nickel plated years ago, has more character than chrome & easier to keep up than polished ali.
