Scrambler 1200 XE fuel cap

Don’t worry I haven’t gone mad, and this may be a daft question with a three letter answer.
Would a Fuel cap from the scrambler fit me bobber, reason why I ask is a chap who works near me showed me his 70 plate today and I love the fuel cap, proper it is.
if I could get a black one I’ll have it...
as I’m also hoping the key barrel from me bobber would fit

It’s actually a two part cap, the mock Monza outter cap and then a locking plastic cap inside. It won’t mount to your bike (the mounting is direct to a bracket built in to the scrambler 1200 tank. Your better option would be a Monza cap from motone customs.

Hello, I thought I could piggy back here and ask @AandJCycles if the tank strap that is seen on the Scrambler (and Thruxton) is possible to be used on the BobberBlack? I understand that the oem tank strap has a front piece that locks beneath the tank by 2 nuts. Is that available on the BobberBlack tank?

I don’t think it will from what I’ve seen the tank on the scrambler has a recess for said strap.

The recess is not a problem at all, the mounting points are the ones that concerns me
