Took off the big white safety stickers on the tank.
Anybody got any suggestions on what's good to use to remove the left over glue without scratching the paint?

I used a bit of goo gone with micro fiber rag, then cleaner wax. Then waxed the entire tank.

The stuff left from the stickers on the engine case I was able to get off well by the tank was fine.

Even some isoprop alcohol should be able to be enough to clean it all of nicely, just make sure you wash it thoroughly after whatever you use and then wax it.

Got some glue off stuff from bettaware. Did the trick no problem.
Didn't need a lot of elbow grease either.

Adhesive removal

Auto parts stores that stock supplies for fiberglass and paint carry an adhesive, wax, and grease remover that is used to prep surfaces.
I have used this product many times on auto and motorcycle painted surfaces to remove sticker residue and to prep for natural and synthetic waxes without problems.
