I'm trying to get the fusebox off so I can access the spare fuse position that's available. The little bugger won't shift, and I don't want to just use more strength to take it off. We all know how that ends. Is there some trick to removing the fusebox from its position on the airbox?

Yeah, had the same problem when I was trying to remove mine first time. Simple job though, just need to insert a small driver behind the assembly to depress a small tab which locks the block in place. Slide the fuse block to the rear.

You'll need flashlight to peer behind and locate the tab!

(apologies for the soft focus pix.....)
