Just saw this picture posted by a company in Thailand. Their post related to exhaust, x-pipe and fins they had fitted but couldn’t help but notice the custom made rear seat that had been added. Fully understand that the Bobber isn’t meant to have a rear seat but compared to some of the efforts I’ve seen, at least this one looks reasonable. Having said that, I will never understand why the owner didn’t just buy a Speedmaster or T120. But.....this is Thailand.

Just no, ride behind another bobber and you will see the back end bouncing about like a pogo stick, while the floating seat effectively sits there rigid, sit on that pad and you will be in the road on the first bumpy section you hit

All that’s missing is a sticker: “should’ve bought a Speedmaster”.

I think it’s downright dangerous to add a rear seat to a Bobber (even if pegs were added for the passenger’s comfort and safety :()
The frame & setup is simply not made for the extra weight.
