I had some Copper flash left over from head lite bezel project so I decided to do the Air Cleaner Covers. Reminds me of an old '68 build that I had that I think actually had Copper or brass ? covers!

I am ole school but sorry that really doesn't look right to me, especially the float chamber.
My air cleaner covers are being nickel plated, I prefer to leave the carbs alone, they were only ever ally.

Be careful not to get gas on those parts. Gas and rattle can paint jobs don't like each other. I learned that when I removed my tank and got just a little gas on one of the parts I sprayed. Ended up just stripping the parts and powder coating.

Did you get your coolant tank cover back from nickle, Pics?
No not yet, they do take their time, I want a good job so it takes what it takes.

When all the covers are done I will get them & my flowed head fitted at the same time then off to the dyno.
