I went for one of the raised chrome/stainless temperature guages on black engine and it looks rather good

I purchased the silver one and disassembled it (the temp gauge is a push fit, held in place by two rubber o rings).
I then painted the silver knurled section with high temp matte black paint.
Once fully cured I reassembled and installed.
I’ll post a pic tomorrow if I remember :)

Hi Gents,

This has been an interesting thread and I've learned a lot about what is available.

I was at my Triumph dealership today so I made a decision and opted for the Triumph one you see pictured. Much easier to undo, clean design and most importantly......'black'...:grin2:

A perfect choice in my opinion :)

I got the same one since the chrome cap was totally standing out on my matte black Bobber. The gunmetal gray one is a perfect fit in my opinion.
