I am putting on a BAAK tail tidy that uses the existing fender and mounts the new tail light (that includes the license plate light) into it with the plate below. Since you are taking OFF the rear fender I guess you will also be taking out the wiring that runs under the fender. 1 of the white connectors is the license plate light so you could trace those wires back to where the harness plugs into at the start of the rear fender and extend it along the frame to the side mount light your putting in. Here is a picture of the rear end with the light plug ins for the tail lamp/brake and turn signals and license plate light.
