While I don't have a problem with the quality of lockable gas cap, to me it's a pain each time I fill up, which is often. Saw the below link, and heck it's almost Christmas, so thought I'd buy something for the Bobber.

Anxious to get it and check out the quality.

Does any one have experience with Motone's products?
The same cap is sold by A&J Cycles who are a vendor here (look lower in the forum for Vendor links) in New York. I have it and it is a great cap. You will be very happy.

I agree with the other buyers. I bought 2 from A&J and they're both excellent, albeit heavy, gas caps. Very good quality.

I have the ribbed version and the quality is very good. Mine is starting to lose its luster. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore the shine?

Will keep you in mind, thanks, and sure beats the conversion issue. Should have looked before leaping, but didn't want it to get away. :)

Brasso. Available at all auto parts and most supermarkets.

Any decent metal polish will work, Brasso is great, I sometimes let mine get tarnished to see the patina
