Sorry to resurrect an old thread!

I'd love to flip my mirrors - I don't have a problem with being tall and them hitting my legs (I'm 5ft 2 :( - but I was wondering how they'd go with a hard turn and knocking against the tank. I had flipped mirrors on my old Iron 883 and 48 and it wasn't an issue, but this is my first bobber so I'm not sure if I'm going to hurt the tank.

Any advice appreciated!

When I got my Bobber it came with the mini-apes and the mirrors were inverted, hanging down. Most of what showed in the mirrors was me. This is probably not an issue with the stock bars.

No worries. The turn stops kick in well before the flipped mirrors would hit the tank.
what if you dropped the bike in say the garage by accident....would that push the mirrors into the tank and cause some real damage?
