Hello everyone, joined a few months ago but I have not posted. purchased 2019 bobber black (gloss tank)
love the looks but not what it does to my tailbone after an hour. enjoyed reading solutions to some of my issues and questions.
Welcome and congrats. As far as the tailbone issue, you'll find lots of solutions here. Clearly a rear shock might be in order. All kinds have been tried here and reviewed. Also, maybe a better seat, like a Corbin.
Good luck on finding the right combination.
Welcome to the forum.
For me, the stock seat was torture and tailbone pain was excruciating.
A Corbin seat played a major part in solving the issue and the Wilbers helps smooth the ride.
If I had to do (very) long trips on the Bobber, I would recommend visiting a professional builder/upholsterer to see if they can hollow out an area to totally relieve tailbone pressure. Though with the shape of the seat, it may be a challenge.
Good luck and I hope you find the right setup.
