Hey I'd like to attach a headlight modulator to my chinese knockoff LED headlight modulator. I talked to the guy that makes them over at Kriss and he said that it might trigger a warning, he doesnt know since most of his clients are harleys. From googling I found a post from 2015 that said CANBUS only effects ignition and speedometer. Does anyone know if that's still true before I spend 170$ on this thing? Once I plug it in theres no returns.

I don't know how to edit so I have a correction. Its a chinese Daymaker LED headlight knockoff. The modulator is made by Kriss and as far as I know the only LED headlight modulator thats being made. The other ones only are made to work with regular bulbs.
