Pickup up my bobber Saturday (2/18) in Savannah, GA. This is my first pure street (non-dual sport) bike, and I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it. Still want to make it my long-distance touring bike though...plans are in the works.

Congrats on the new Bobber! And it looks like you got the green one too. How's it compare to your old bike?

Going to be a head scratcher figuring out how to strap luggage to the Bobber.

Heard that the Bobber is pretty low to the ground so a majority of riders should fit comfortably. How comfortable is the stock seat if you plan to make it into a touring bike?

So I had a chance at trying the seat for myself and its not that bad. No concern for what it'll be like on longer rides but fortunately all my rides day in and day out are around 40-60 miles. Rarely i'll need to go farther.

If not then maybe i'll look into having a custom one made. It helps I have a few friends that work at an automotive body shop/fabrication

As long as it will be painted black, any of these kinds would be acceptable for my taste.
