Evening guys ,

I'm on the tail end of finishing my tall bar conversion on my Bobber black , and following Triumph's instructions , have come to the conclusion that I'm missing something.:D I would think that Triumph wouldn't just want these wires hanging around just sort of shoved behind the tank in an unsightly mess. Any of you guys feel like sharing what you did with the bundle at this point? I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks

When I did mine, I was able to keep the excess length of wires looped to fit inside of the harness cover. If I remember correctly, I used a zip tie or two to keep them tidy.

OK , Here is my solution . There is a narrow plastic cover running along the frame that the original length harness snapped in to. That is what you see in the above pic , with the plugs hanging out the left end. That channel has holes through the back side of it. I poked the new harness plugs out of the far left end of that channel and deposited them into the frame (just above where you fill the radiator , for those playing along at home). I then brought the original harnesses in to the frame just in front of that channel and snapped them all together inside the frame and pulled them up against the frame with a zip tie. There is room in there , but not much. Tested everything before I put the tank back on.

I am certainly no expert , but this seems way better than any other solution. I am not above being corrected , nor am I thin skinned. If I did it wrong , by all means feel free to correct me.
