Hello everyone. I'm from Brighton in Sussex. I bought a 2017 Bobber a couple of years ago in red and silver to match my 1972 model Triumph TR6R Tiger. I ride both regularly and am very pleased with the new Bobber. I discovered the site recently and have seen some interesting ideas such as changing to a Speedmaster tank and the putting a small rack on the mudguard for carrying light luggage.
Riding the Bobber is great fun and have done a couple of longish tours to South Wales and Normandy in France. Will be doing Devon and Cornwall shortly.

Hi Flagship
I too hail from sunny Sussex by the Sea.
Like you I am planning a trip this year, mine is to south west France.
My only mods for the trip are G lock phone holder (to use phone as satnav)
and bought half a sheepskin to cover the seat(easily removable) for the trip.

Hi Telduff.
I've got a Tom Tom, the luggage both sides for touring, heated grips and an optimate. Apart from that nothing else but will fit a little rack on the back mudguard. I am thinking of upgrading the suspension as I'm quite heavy and there are some serious pot-holes around here as you will know.
Im in the Burgess Hill MCC and the Mid Sussex British MCC. The latter are mainly interested in old bikes so i go there with the old TR6.
The Bobber is great fun. As soon as I saw the press release I was hooked and when I tried it out i found it exhilerating.

Hey Flagship, you might look at a Speedmaster rear shock. Especially if someone has upgraded and looking to get rid of theirs. It is adjustable and designed to haul two people comfortably. I’m 200 pounds and I’m not going to say what my wife weighs but she’s not thin. We don’t even have it set at the max and it does a great job.

If you haven’t already spotted the Bobber only ride out planned on the 25th of May then be sure to get your name down for it....if everyone turns up it ought to be the single biggest gathering of Bobbers/owners in the U.K. to date, (as far as I’m aware). It’s not far from you at all too! ?
