Hi all,
Thought I should introduce myself instead of just lurking on the periphery. My name is Trace. I ordered my bobber in September 2017 and picked her up early in November with some black additions already in place. I christened her TBob; not very creative, but the name just seemed to stick. I enjoyed her daily in the lead up to Christmas before stripping her naked to have her tins livened up a little. I've just picked up the tins from the Paint Doctor.
Looking forward to reassembling her shortly. New brake parts are on order too, but may take a little longer to arrive. I imagine she'll continue to evolve over time as I add some more personal touches and the good folk here on the forum continue to provide inspiration and ideas.

First day....

Welcome Trace, I've been admiring your boots they're lovely. Are there a lot of snakes in your neighborhood?0:)

bienvenu 0:)
maybe little black paint on the back of the license plate, it would be immediately more discreet.

I thought the same as Chico.
Hi Chico and MikeB, there are indeed a few snakes in my neighborhood, some crocs too, though the boots are more for saving my shins from oncoming traffic on the gravel roads :wink2:

Good idea... the rear fender is being replaced with the short version, so I'll reassess it when I get it mounted up again. A little stealth paint to deflect radar would be an even better idea :grin2:

I do not know how it happens in Australia, but I guess it's about the same as in France :wink2:

Hi

Hi,

Australia day was great, and now the population of our little town will drop by about 10,000 people as all the tourists who have been camped here over Christmas / New Year head back to Perth with their kids, to get ready for school.

This is marvellous...

The roads will empty, the streets will be clean and tidy, and I won't need to worry about any morons moving my bike so they can get their 4*4 into a MC space...(yes it happens)

Have a great week.

And sanity prevails again :D At least until Easter :p

Very jealous ladies, middle of the winter her in the UK. Very cold, wet & drab! :(
Well it should be very hot, wet and a bit drab here right now, but the monsoons haven't reached us yet, so just, hot and humid. Winter is my best riding time as the days are usually back in the high 20s without extreme humidity. Hope you see some sun soon :)

Hi Trace,

I came across that pic when I was searching google for custom paint jobs for bobbers, nice choice :)

I'm from Brissy Queensland, just bought my first triumph "bobber black" but looking at doing something similar.
