Fixing my lights

(Note this is Bobber related so bear with me) From the title of the thread you might surmise I had an issue with my Bobber's lights, however that is not the case. What I had trouble with was my kitchen overhead florescent lights. The ballast was going out so I called a qualified electrician to replace the ballast or whatever it took to get illumination working in my kitchen. The guy showed up a couple hours after I made my call and when he went out to my garage to check my breaker panel was surprised to see my third car bay was packed with motorcycles. He then got into a long discussion about his riding and even showed me pictures of his Harley and his wife's Harley. After sorting my kitchen lights out he asked if there was anything else and I thought "hey closet light issue." So I directed him to my walk-in closet and showed him the lights were not working. There are 2 fixtures each with two bulbs, but only one bulb was lit and a second bulb was intermittently on and off. I told him I tried to fix it, but I couldn't get the cover globes off to access the bulbs. He spent about 20 minutes working on the fixtures and found the socket power tabs had been bent by who ever last installed lamps. His comment, "who ever put those in didn't do you any favors." He then said it was such a minor job he wasn't going to charge me for it. I was so impressed I said, "tell you what, you like those bikes in the garage? I'll let you take one, your choice, around the block." He lit up like a Christmas tree. He wanted to take the Bobber for a spin. After he got done with a whole house safety check we proceeded out to my garage and I backed the Bobber out into my drive. After some instruction on starting it up he was off down the street, He was back about 5 minutes later with the biggest grin on his face.

After he got off the bike we spent about 15 minutes discussing why it was so much fun to ride. I think he's hooked.

My niece asked if she could take my bobber out for a spin, I told her to kick rocks 😆
I wouldn't let any of my niece's ride it either, none of them know how to ride.
