Hello Bobber people. Three weeks ago i purchased a 2018 Bobber Black. I never thought I'd own a triumph especially because while i was growing up my mother owned a 1974 spitfire and every headache that came with it LOL. I've owned many bikes and sold the last one in 2006. When I started looking for a new motorcycle I saw the BB and fell in love with it. I decided i was going to buy one before I even saw it in person. When i finally made it to the dealer, sat on it for less then 5 min and made the deal, without a test drive or even hearing it. Finally I get the bike, start it and drive away. It took a few seconds to realize this is the nicest bike i have ever owned or ridden. In less then one week of owning it i ordered a free spirit X pipe, Vance & Hines exhaust, short rear fender, multi function turn singles (with matching front ones), and a licence plate re-locator (modified to fit vertical). Future plans are a belt drive set up, rear shock, short front fender, and fork dampeners.

Previously owned Bike- 1985 kawasaki 454 LTD (choped, stretched, welded, it was more of a joke then anything) - 2001 Suzuki intruder - 2003 suzuki marauder - 2001 suzuki GSXR 750 - 2002 suzuki GSX 1200 bandit

Congratulations. Technically the Bobber is my second Triumph as my first was a 1972 Triumph 1500 - wonderful car except for its capacity to turn back into ferrous oxide. The choice this time round was to buy either a motorcycle or re-live the past with a 70's Spitfire. I do like the Spitfire but the price of them these days is getting silly and I've had enough time spent lying under old cars scraping off rust and misguided attempts at undersealing them. So a shiny motorcycle wins.

My Speedmaster is my first Trumpet too... Almost bought a Trophy Tourer in 1998, but preferred a GTR 1000 I rode back to back with it...

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the B.B. you clearly have a lot of history with motorcycles and with all those mods, probably a long future with the Triumph.
