While I get the appeal, I think there are just too many fins and detracts from the overall look of the engine.
I just love the polished/satin look of the OEM covers.
Just my humble opinion, of course.

I completely agree, it's the bane of Bobber ownership, if only Triumph had made 'em with substandard poorly designed parts then life would be so much easier! As it stands finding aftermarket parts that are as good or better than OEM is tough! Even the stock exhaust looks and sounds great, how many modern bikes can you say that about? >:)

These were available for the air cooled 865, looked sh*t on them as well.
The classic style & engine are a major part of our retro bikes, fins are ok on sharks but not on timing & clutch cases.

Yeah... I'm in the "I don't care for the look" camp too. I like the authenticity of the smooth cases.
