Exhaust suggestions

Currently have BC Sleeper Pros. I think they sound pretty good, but not sold on em. Coming from the Harley family I tend to like my exhaust note on the more aggressive side. I have a BC x-pipe on the way and I’m sure that will make a positive change in the sound. But it may not be enough. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Exhausts from motone or thornton hundred will be what your after.
Thanks. I think drag pipes may be in my future. I really like the sound from clips of the Hitchcox pipes. Thornton Hundred is a little pricey, but I’ll check out Motone.

I have the Hitchcoxs and love them. I bit loud but they have a great snarl and are rowdy AF. They will require a tune in my opinion depending on what else you have going on with your mods. I smile every time I ride.

Thanks. I was under the impression that the 2022s ECM would adapt and retune the A/F automatically?
That sounds pretty good. My problem is I've already ordered the BC x-pipe from a dealer. What are the thoughts on the BC drag pipes?

I’ve been on here long enough to remember when BC first brought out their drag pipes for the Bobber. At the time they didn’t recommend them for use with an X-pipe as they said it would be too loud and with it being effectively a straight through system there was a chance of damaging the engine. Since then it seems loads of people have done X-pipe to drag pipes or the equivalent and a number of companies including Motone and Hitchcocks have released their own full systems and I’ve never heard of anyone having engine problems so maybe BC was just erring on the side of caution. So from what I’ve seen the fit and finish of BCs stuff is good and if you like the look and want it loud go for it.
I went x-pipe and Hitchcox short drags. The sound was too brutal. I refitted the cat and the noise is at an acceptable level.

I too worried over lack of back pressure having a negative effect on mechanics, some people on libe swear there's no effect: citing race engines utilise straight through pipes to aid performance.
Then there are other people who will say you need a certain amount of back pressure for a road bike engine to run properly....

🤦
I'm not worried too much about it being "too brutal". I had a D&D Fatcat two into one on my Street Glide and it was a mean sounding SOB and I loved it. Nasty is what I'm looking for, but not at the expense of performance.
I was surprised..

...to get some really terrific sound out of my two-into-two fishtails with just a minimal baffle in.

Absolutely love the roar when I open here up...:p

Cheerio,
Roy

I have an x-pipe, cat delete, and side exit BC exhaust. It's STUPID loud. You'll love it, I do.
Every time I ride ... even with my H-Bomb dB killers installed ...

I laugh every time I see it. Good thing I'm wearing a helmet, I might actually be concerned ...

That sounds good, but very similar to my Sleeper Pros. I think a shorty exhaust is the only thing that's going to give me the sound I'm looking for.
Another question. Does anyone here think there would be a market for the Sleeper Pros if I try to sell them here?

Someone could pick them up from the for sale sub-forum, seen plenty of sales on there.
Ok after exhaustive (see what I did there?) research, the sound I'm looking for is the BC turnouts. I've seen opinions that this isn't a good choice with an x-pipe, and others say it works great. What say ye?

Personally I'm about to spring for almost the same setup , could run some baffles that can be adjusted with a saw/drill to find the exact pitch or back pressure. If you or I feel it's a bit too much some steel/ceramic wool on the baffle will take it back another notch.
I'm not concerned that it will be too loud. I just don't want to throw away performance from the lack of back pressure. I've seen yays and nays on this.
