Had a bit of smirk on me face yesterday when the front wheel grabbed a bit of air time. 🤪Yep, with the mx obdII adapter. Works great. Ran a 12.7 @ 105 mph in the 1/4 mile. Never been on a drag strip before so I’m still working on launches. Even popped a wheelie on one launch.
Can you tell me what I need to install the DNK tune in my bike?Loaded the DNK bobber tune yesterday and went for a test ride.
It’s fantastic noticed straight away how more responsive the throttle is, how smooth the delivery now is, how faster the bike is in every gear, how high the Rev range as gone up and the main thing for me is the low speed snatching and jerkiness as almost gone, not completely but almost.
A great upgrade in my opinion completely Changed the 1200 engine for the better.
You will need an Android tablet or an Android phone running a copy of the Tune ECU app plus the custom tune from DNK. I think you have to get tune ECU direct from the App creator here. It used to be available on the Google app store but I have a feeling it is no longer there. This thread had additional details, but if you search this topic has been raised on many occasions and there are plenty of threads explaining how its done. Can you tell me what I need to install the DNK tune in my bike?

Have you had a lot of experience with loading tunes or was the DNK the first one you have done? The more I read on the tune ecu web-site the more confused I get!Yeap last thing u want is messing up during the map upload lol.
It was my first try buddy. As long as you register your bike on Tune ecu and upload the tune from DNK, let the ECU do what it does, put the 15A headlight fuse back and let it run 12 mins. Uploading should take about 5mins or less. If you have codes after the tune just clear them and run the engine again. Its about a 30min process give and take.Have you had a lot of experience with loading tunes or was the DNK the first one you have done? Ok, I’m hoping to get this done shortly.Headlight fuze and a trickle charger are a must. I used a schulink and let it charge about 72 hrs it started kicking on and off . Cool thing is it's a smart charger that hooks up to your phone app to let you know when the battery is going to be full and the charge V% is updated .
