What's the advantage of going down the de-cat route and fitting an X-pipe (or similar)?
There does seem to be a lot of interest in this.
Is the weight saving, and a freer flowing exhaust worth the investment?
What are the gains?
My Bobber runs just fine as the factory set it up, and I remain to be convinced of changing it, so I guess I am just curious! :smile2:

Well that's a good way to put it.

Remaining convinced to change it though is a natural thing, we call that the "mod-bug" and once it bites, it bites harder and harder every time after that so tread carefully ;)

There is a few pound weight saving but since it is as low as possible it is not a factor. The bike will be slightly louder and deeper and have some performance benefit and a little less heat! >:)

Definitely not like the sport bike guys that install an aftermarket exhaust system that literally weighs half of what the oem does haha.

But seriously... literally half. It's crazy haha
