I’ve been planning on changing my seat since I bought the bike. Yesterday’s 300 mile ride, and the fact both of my femurs are titanium, that has moved up my list of things to do.

Other than getting something custom done, are there any off the shelf options that would be more comfortable?

No Corbin seats. Comfort is not worth the bike looking like that.

I'm a plus one on Triumph's quilted seat. Although I think it's only marginally comfier than stock its flatter profile allows you to move around, which I find makes all the difference on a long run. I guess you've done this already, but if not another thing I'd recommend is trying your seat in various positions, you've only got a few inches to play with but wow if you get it right what a difference it makes! Other than that if you don't like the super-sized Corbin seats and I'm with you on that one, I guess your only option is to get an upholster to sort you some custom foam. Good luck.

I can’t recommend enough going the custom route. The stock seat is inadequate especially with a bigger fuel tank, ie longer in the saddle. I started with a pretty diamond stitched seat but then had the whacky idea of combining a bicycle and tractor style seat. I ended up with something that’s comfortable enough (along with a Fox shock) to ride non-stop from LA to Santa Barbara and back (about 140 miles round trip) without wincing. Looks nice too.

in addition to a suspension upgrade, Baak has what seems to be a really nice looking seat ($$$ though). I had the original seat covered in a tuck and roll leather with an extra foam layer (without noticeably changing the profile). made all the difference. you could also add a gel layer if you really need the additional comfort.

If I can’t find something off the shelf, I’m most likely going to your guy in Canoga Park, and doing what you did with your black seat.

Any interest in selling yours?

I started a new thread to review it. So far, it’s been a great purchase. Will see how it goes after some mileage and it breaks in more.

I just paid big money for the British Customs gel seat ... great looking, actually better than the stock in that department..
But comfortable?
Not the big difference I expected.
I just compared the triumph comfort seat to the B.C. with pics and looks as if the triumphs is actually thicker..and got me wondering.

Corbin would likely be the best in comfort..
And they offer tons of options for Color , leather or vinyl different colors stitching..
Ostrich, alligator..the list goes on..
But...yep .they are big looking.
Maybe the only way to get that kind of cushion.

If your aim is to ride 300 mile days and you have physical issues, you may have the wrong bike. There is only so much that can be changed on the Bobber even if you change it's looks to the point where it looks more like Frankenstein.
