I’m about to install my motone levers, question, I see this metal piece behind the brake is rusting. Is that an easy part to get and replace? I’m not sure if I can get just the metal piece or if it comes off along with a bigger piece. I’m not sure what it’s called. Any advice? Thanks

Looks like the activation plunger on the master cylinder. It's not serious corrosion. I'd apply a tiny bit of silicone grease on it. You don't want to contaminate the rubber.
That is the plunger for the hydraulic brake and it is replaceable, however it's easier to coat it, no brake bleeding required.
