I've got a nice set of Trident exhausts to fit on the bobber. I'm wanting to put in an x-pipe at the same time. I think I'm going to have to do something to the ECU, Booster plug or custom remap, or Power commander?

I think the booster plug would probably do it, but would like a second opinion. I'm interested in keeping as much low low down and mid-range grunt as possible.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts?

So I have a bit of info for you. I had already had a xpipe installed when I added the trident exhaust. I immediately felt the lack of low end, and especially mid range. Spoke with the boys at Trident and they recommended running their pipes with the stock catalytic. So..back goes the catalytic, and low end is better, but I still think a tune or booster plug would help. FYI, the xpipe-trident combo is way loud.
