Hello
I’m French and live in Bordeaux, France located south west of FR, near the sea where I go very often

Nice roads, in the middle of the vineyards, nice weather, … what else do you need ?

I’ve had a street triple S since 2019, very nice roadster which handles very nicely but fell in awe with the Bobber

I’m getting my 2018 bobber black next Monday; can’t wait it looks so good

Happy to discuss with this community

Welcome from Australia.
Enjoy your new ride.
Can you send me a nice bottle of Bordeaux?

Thx

I hope so !
I’m buying it without even having tried it (not the first time I’m doing that silly move)

Although I did try a brand new 2022 Bobber
And I did love it !

I like the look the panniers give the bike.
In those instances when you need storage, you'll find them handy!
I know I did. I actually mounted mine with bolts and wingnuts, to increase
the amount of load one can carry and they won't slide off at 80mph.
Plus I can still remove them if I get so inclined. 😁

Thanks (y)
yep, it was delivered today !

a 2018 Black Bobber, only 2 500 miles : brand new !

Not sure I want to keep the panniers on, though...
I also was not sure about the panniers but they are usefull on longer trips, a backpack can become heavy after 3 or 4 hours.
So i had my racks powder coated black so when i remove the panniers (most of the time) they are less obvious.

Good idea; could you explain and post some pictures of what you did ?
Thanks 🙏

As soon as I can get back on my bike I will get the information up on here. I had back surgery on the 27th of September, and haven’t been on it since two days before that date.
I’m hoping I will get cleared soon, I hate being stationary.
