My first Bobber spotting (and the first time is always the best, right) outside of mine and any dealership. This was one of three I spotted at Wheels and Waves in Biarritz this weekend. Only three in over a couple of thousand or more motorcycles. Tons of other Triumphs though. BMW’s, Ducatis’, Moto Guzzi’s, Indian, and Harley-Davidsons galore.

In the last year (since getting mine) I have only ever seen one Bobber and one Speedmaster. This is covering New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona.

(not including dealerships and meeting up with a forum member).

Only two but loved seeing them.

Before this spotting I hadn’t seen one in any travels in cities on the West Coast or all over Europe. So, seeing three in two days was pretty exciting (guess it doesn’t take much to up my excitement level). Didn’t get to meet any of the owners though as they were either wandering the show on the first day or at the flat track event on the second day of my visit. Show was fantastic with tons of custom and vintage bikes on display and being in Europe, so many vendors of products you never get to see in the States. As the show is geared to more café racer/Bobber/sport and custom, rather than cruisers, you see some amazing style and craftsmanship you wouldn’t otherwise see. At the flat track scene, some of the best fun is checking out the thousands of bikes in the parking lot. It’s a show in and of itself.

Met a guy at Cycle Gear in Canoga yesterday who had just bought a used Bobber. Had a nice chat about mods.

Then today whilst riding north on Topanga Canyon, I passed a few Triumphs heading southbound with a Bobber at the tail. I have to say, the Bobber looks cool in motion.

After almost 2.5 years I saw my first ever Bobber on the roads of Mallorca !
Was black or Morello red (hard to tell in such strong sun) running standard exhausts - but still sounded good.
If you’re on the forum Bobber *KHZ plate (if I remember it correctly) reveal yourself, please :)

No, sorry. I was in Bunyola yesterday afternoon. And in Triumph dealer.
Are you on the island full time or just for the season ?
We should try to get out for a ride and prove to others that there really are two actual Bobbers on Mallorca :grin2:
