Finished this up tonight for a customer. Bike has free Spirits x-pipe and Forward controls. We chopped off the stock mufflers and welded up some cheapy 45 degree pieces and dime city mufflers. Customer provided these slick Billet aluminum tips.

For the lighting, we welded on new tabs on the rear fender bracket and mounted hightechspeed X-Arc multifunction Turn Signals. These are wired in as run/brake/turn signals and are Super bright. Also installed side mount plate kit and The just released Motone Bel Air tail light. Mounted the light on bottom to keep it away from the exhaust. Customer will be installed Bobber fender himself.

looks good! I've got one question: aren't you going to put some kind of cover over the holes where the standard light was mounted? It would be great to have a cover for that area that you can order in your shop!
maybe something like Cdubs' creation: http://www.triumphbobberforum.com/forum/36769-post16.html

John,
Customer will be chopping and painting the fender himself. Thanks for that link, I will talk to some of our vendors and try to come up with a solution.

Sorry - I overlooked that part in your first post... But I'm looking forward to your solution! Thank a lot!

Can someone please measure the diameter of the rear fender bracket for me? Regrettably my Bobber is in off-site storage.

Rationale... I bought X-Arc front and rear signal lights. Similar to the Bobber that A&J Cycles customized, I'd like to try mounting the rear multi-function signal lights on the rear fender bracket. Rather than weld on tabs (too permanent for me at this time), I wanted to see if I could find a pair of black p-clamps that'd fit the rear fender bracket.

Many thanks for your efforts and your kind offer to source the bolt. However, I'm looking for the diameter of the bracket (#6 in the diagram) that supports the rear fender so that I can find a p-clamp that goes around the bracket that will support the rear signal light.

I had the same idea. I measured it a while back and bought p clamps but went another direction. I recall buying 1 & 1 1/4 clamps and didn’t like the way either fit. In between these 2 would have been right for me.
Measure the circumference with a string or strip of paper. Divide that length by pi. That’s the diameter.

Really like the look the x-arc tail light gives. Did you end up welding the fastening for them or did they fit on standard configuration?
