I shall be leaving the stock pipes on my TFC, but fitting the decat X pipe from my old Bobber

Good plan, because the pipes that are technically "stock" on the TFC aren't really stock in the usual sense. For some applications (pure sport bikes targeted at a young demographic), Arrow, along w/2 Brothers, seems to focus on being as loud as possible, with or w/o baffles installed, BUT on a bike like this, I'm sure they'll do it up right for the expected buyer. Deeper and richer, and a slight increase in volume, but nothing to have the cops, er, Bobbies called round on you in the middle of the night. But if you remove the baffles, I'm sure they'll sound plenty aggressive.

Edit: Obviously, you like the X pipe, but did it change the performance or sound of your existing Bobber?
