Hey all,

I hope you’re all keeping well.

I’ve not posted a lot of late due to this being a very busy time of year at work.

None the less, it was my birthday yesterday so I booked the day off and spent it riding from coastal town to coastal town, stopping along the way to take in some of the sights and to neck a coffee or ten.

A took a couple of snaps along the way on my camera phone, so thought I’d share in the hope to inspire some of you guys to get on out there. Riding session will soon enough be over after all :wink2:

I reckon they're taken at Whitstable (sailing dinghies) and Reculver (Towers)… But what would I know? I'm from the cultured side of the Thames!:grin2::grin2::grin2:>:)

Thanks chaps.

Whitstable and Reculver do feature... The graff shots were taken in Margate and the fuel pumps are at an old vintage car dealership down the road from where I live. It’s been closed for years now but it’s a great spot for pics :)

Hi Mike,

Happy Birthday and well done on a lovely ride, some great photographs. On an evening ride a few nights ago I past some vintage pumps but didn't have my camera with me (I don't have a smartphone), so will plan to go back - any excuse for a ride.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheerio,

Roy

There is an abandoned Shell gas station in Winston-Salem, N.C. that is shaped like a shell . . .

I need to ride up there and take a picture. Old gas stations make great backdrops for Bobber shots. Your shot turned out especially nice!
