I have been looking for a leg bag to compensate for the lack of storage on Bonnie. I looked at American Leg End bag and now receive countless offers of 10%, 20% 30% and if I close the page again 40%

The bag looks good especially with discount but then in the UK we have to pay import duty. Only a small percentage but then a charge of 13 quid to collect the duty!

I nearly pressed the button but decided to look around doing an image search. Guess what.

...and then

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Military-Motorcycle-Multi-purpose-Messenger-Shoulder/dp/B071ZJ577R/ref=pd_sbs_193_1?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=96WEMGNC7ETQYTJBTRJD

even cheaper.

The zips seem to be a problem according to feedback so maybe this one

Condor Drop Leg Dump Pouch Black | Magazine Pouches | Military 1st

Even space for a few magazines :D

Depends what you want to carry.
I use a Kriega sling (small) messenger bag when traveling with an iPad, etc or a Wunderlich leg bag for smaller items.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B015H8NY84?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd

https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/de/beintasche-44880-000-1.html

Admittedly, the wunderlich is pretty ugly!
From the links you attached , I prefer the last one. Though as mentioned, drag might be an issue at higher speeds.

I think that for aesthetics, a true messenger style shoulder bag suits the “look” of the Bobber the most.
(Something like this perhaps: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B015HAF368/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1518627913&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=kriega+messenger&dpPl=1&dpID=41XJjgH3R5L&ref=plSrch)

Dam it.

I never knew I needed a leg bag until reading this thread last night !!!
Think one of these would suit my military dress code :)

Im with you, never thought about it but now, its a definite route. Still !!!! never buying a "fanny pack" "bum bag" or "man bag".

Have to watch Eisen77, must have a great job with the things he buys for the bike and himself, £109 for a bag????:wink2:

I've got a fanny pack that I never used, it is actually a concealed carry bag with a large velcro closure pouch where a gun can be carried. I've never used it though because I figured everyone would make me as a CCL (plus some guys "on the other side" used fanny packs giving them a bad reputation). I was thinking about using it on the bobber anyway though.

Then I saw this thread and went to Amazon to look what is available. I saw various differnt ones but some of the listings call them a leg purse!! LOL. So which type screams "cream puff" more???

I hope everyone takes my last post lightheartedly, that was my intent.

Anyway, to anyone using a leg bag, how comfortable are they when sitting on the bike? I like the fact that they use 2 straps to secure them but it looks like they are made to fit while standing. I don't want one of the large bulky bags, I'd think they will catch wind like a parachute.

I found this motorcycle leg bag on amazon but I'm thinking it would not flex to be comfortable when sitting on the bobber.

Bikerdib, Ahh the English language, what fun can be had.
See here in the UK, a fanny is something entirely different so when I checked your link it wasn't what I was expecting at all.

I like the last link best. Wouldn't a bag like this catch a lot of the wind though and feel like it was pulling on your leg?
I guess it will pull and be worse with a more boxier shaped bag and the faster you go the worse it will be but I don’t plan on sitting at a ton plus :)

Only modern men have man bags lol
I wouldn’t have bought my military man and bum bags if it wasn’t for the military theme I’m running with ;-)
I think we’ll all be fine unless there shiny leather or fluorescent green/orange!! :-0

I like this bag looks nice and slim must be good for a ton plus :)

Bottom line they are relatively cheap
Im just going to give it a go !!
On the up side it could act as a physical speed deterant !!! :)

Today, I received the one I linked to in my previous post. I was pleasently surprised because the quality is actually better than I expected for the price. It can be rotated slightly for when sitting on the bike and has nice storage space, not as much as some are going with but this one will be stable in the wind since it hugs your leg and doesn't stick out like some.
