Hey Everyone!

Been lurking, decided to join! Love the bike, quite the blast to ride, but I'm still pre-first service so the real fun begins soon!

Welcome! I am about to schedule the 1st service as by the weekend I'll have the 500. Looking forward to getting bast in the "break in".

I see your avatar is the Deftones...solid band.

Welcome to the forums! Will you be going to the dealer for first servicing or will you be doing it yourself?

If that was for me (the service question), taking it to the dealer on April 22. They said when I bought it that it would be good to have the 1st service done there so they can inspect it above and beyond what the average person (me) would likely do and can then vouch for any issues that may be there rather than me having to argue it with Triumph. Not anticipating any issues, but am fine with it. After the 1st one I will be doing them myself. I have another thread on this topic....was super bumbed that the service guy said to not go much over 500 miles before the service as the oil/cleaner mix isn't designed for it. Have to get "real" oil in it before more spirited driving.

As for the servicing question, i will takr it in for the first and morr than like do the rest myself. I prefer the techs to do the detailed first once over. Computer check isnt a bad thing to check with either.
