Does anyone know if an aftermarket side faring is available to replace the stock fairing that says bobber on it?

Aluminum is preferable!

I don't know of any replacements; however you could cover your original side panels with the new plastic self adhesive foils that you can get in brushed aluminium; among other things.
I saw sports car locally that was completely done with it, looked very convincing!

Very good idea.
I saw a Smart car re-covered a few weeks ago and it was amazing to see the transformation.
Even better - its completely reversible, so you can always revert back to stock if needed...

Indeed, and the number of different effects/colours is endless!
If you wanted to go "Steampunk" you could do some interesting things with this foil in copper, brass, nickel, rust, silver polished and tarnished etc. etc.

Bodywork specialists locally or on the www should be able to help.
