Turn signal indicators and hazards

So I picked up a used 2017 bobber with very little mileage on it, around 3000 kms or 1900 miles.

Itís all good except flashers donít flash and hazards donít light up either. The seller did tell me it just quit without his knowledge.

I do not have a workshop manual on this bike so can someone tell me what or where the process of elimination would be on these newer bikes with the led system.

All other lighting works as it should.

Thanks

Try this: For starters, go to page 10 here https://www.triumphinstructions.com/...9838023-EN.pdf and check the current setting? Previous owner may have been tooling around and inadvertently input the wrong data value.

Thanks Retro, gave that a shot but still nothing? Do you know if there is a clicker relay on this bike? Perhaps where it is located? I had the same issue on my Thruxton albeit not LEDís , easy $15 fix.

If all else fails take it to dealer and have warranty handle.

My left rear turn signal quit working. The wire had pulled out. Triumph doesn't give much slack in their wiring and connections will sometimes pull out. In my case, the rear fender had to be removed to fix the problem but my dealer did that.

Update for those interested.

I got my bike back from the dealer as I could not find the reason for signal and hazard lights simply not functioning.

It turns out that the instrument panel which feeds power back to the lights was defected and completely replaced under warranty by Triumph.

There is no relay in this system.

The dealer re configured mileage on the panel to where it was originally.

Thank goodness for warranty as the part and labor to diagnose could have been North of 1 large.

Garage
Glad to hear it worked out without any cost to you. Now, it confirms that you really got a good deal on that Bobber. Ride safe (now that you have flashers and hazards working).
