Girder forks update

Iím really pleased with how these are looking. The oversized main tubes work well with the fat front tyre (IMO).
Hope to have it back end of next week.

I'm extremely interested in how the girder suspension reacts to everyday riding. I like the look and would be interested in doing something like that myself. Did I miss a previous thread about where you bought the girder forks? Price and all that? or did you have it made?
Great Black North likes this.

I've spent my fortune on wine, women, and motorcycles. The rest I wasted on everything else.

A great project,

I can see and agree with your comments about the thick down-jubes, good call.

You better get ready for making some spare sets as I can see a few folks wanted these.

Cheerio,

Roy

Iím looking forward to test riding them.
They are a commissioned one-off, they are made by Metal Malarkey who built the forks for one of the bikes in the bobber build off. Forks are similar geometry, but a new design to accommodate the larger wheel, twin brake etc.
I am sure the fabricator would be happy to make more, possibly quicker turn round now the spec is documented.
As for price, Iíll share the info privately when I get the final bill
