Help on Pannier Rail and Bag

What pannier rail and bag can I install, for a black bobber with a "short fender kit" (oem kit)? I'm not sure if there's one specifically with a short fender/side mount installed. Planning to put one on the Left side only. Can you guys point me at the right direction please... TIA

This is the Triumph one; part number A9510375 which included a bracket. It does fit with the Triumph side plate and short fender. Apparently they don't come in all black anymore though.

The stock pannier rail with bag are what I ended up going with. I got one for each side. Doesn't have anything to do with the shorter fender, i don't think. It attaches to the frame. The only issue with them is that they come in Chrome only. So, I had mine powder coated black before install. I installed myself with the help of a friend. You can do it with no small difficulties without removing the mufflers as is stated in the instructions. It's a pain, but as long as you're careful, it's possible. I'm happy with mine. The bags have pretty decent capacity and when they aren't on the bike, the rails don't look out of place at all, imo.

Pannier Rail part is A9518218 for the left side and the bag (in black) is A9518230. 13.8 litres of capacity. If you have a Triumph dealer nearby, I'm sure they will have them on display.

Thanks much for the info... are these easy to install and take it off, cause I'm kinda minimalist, so im thinking, ill just install it if im going for a farther ride and bring some goodies with me : and take it off, If im just around the area....

EDITED: are the bags easy to take it off???

Not 100% sure, but, I think the bags/hangers interfere with the side plate and multi-function lights when you have the short fender installed with the Triumph plate mount and multi-functions.

The bags go on and off very easy. Just a simple clip. The bars... once they’re on, you will not want to take them off. The bags also come with a strap, so that you can sling them over your shoulder for easy carrying.
As for the other point about the short fender, that I can’t speak to. If you have a Triumph Dealer, they might be able to help with that.

Hi,

I recently fitted the Triumph panner rails/bags. I had to remove my side mounted plate and reposition the license platte back in the rear position as it's not compatible with running panniers.

Cheerio,

Roy

Yes that was me mate. I liked the look of the side-plate but as my bike evolves it's just not practical for my longterm vision, so it had to come off.

Cheerio,

Roy
