Today’s ‘upgrades’- Indicator replacement

I’m beginning to wonder what I’ll do when I run out of mods to make‽

Whilst I don’t dislike the standard LED indicators from a look perspective, the clear lense kind of spoils the blacked out look.
In the absence of smoked lenses, I decided to go the whole hog and replace them completely .

I purchased some matte black led indicators, with smoked lenses and the Motone customs indicator machined block fittings. Whole job took me around 4 hours, and was definitely not ‘plug and play’.
I wasn’t expecting to have to drop the rear wheel or remove the top yoke to effect the change, but hey ho!

The indicators practically disappear now, but are still super bright and easy to see, so hopefully won’t attract unwanted attention from the UK police.

I agree on the lenses. I actually tried to put film over mine but they ended up looking like cartoon eyeballs, big dilated pupals.
