My soon to be not so black bobber

Hey all - thought I'd get a thread going as my bike begins her transformation from stock. I've had the bike for a couple of months now, and glad I got a chance to enjoy it before I started replacing bits. Some parts are arriving this week, and then I drop the bike off at the dealer end of Aug for a paint job, and total reworking of the rear fender.

What I have on order (and hopefully will be installing this weekend!):
OEM swing arm bag
OEM aux socket
BC slash cut drag pipes
New Rage Cycles 360 front indicators

What is being done in Aug
Raw round (i.e. no rib in the middle) cut rear fender
Bullet atto amber satin black indicators
RSD vertical side mount plate holder w/ tail light
Both fenders, tank, and side covers are being painted Porsche Nardo Grey

For reference, attaching a pic of the color in question. After all that is done, at some point I'll likely throw on the OEM heated grips and go aftermarket with the rear suspension.

I'll be posting pics as things progress. Cheers!

-Tom

Good on you Siggsy, best thing to do to a bobber black is stop it being black.

So wound up putting a couple hundred miles on her this weekend instead of doing a ton of installs, but did manage to get my exhaust on. I was worried it'd be too aggressive and loud, but you can def keep it in check if you don't open up the throttle. Idle def dropped an octave in tone, which I really like. Bonus I now have more room for my heels.

I'll get some better pics once I get the other bits on.

Looks great! Boy, the silver bits around the motor really stand out in this pic with so much black. It'll be interesting to see how things come together after your paint job.

Each one matters.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm thinking that shouldn't stand out so much once I paint. After another convo with my dealer, looks like I'm nixing the rear fender after all. If it bothers me i can always add one later.
