G'day from North Queensland

Hi all,
Thought I should introduce myself instead of just lurking on the periphery. My name is Trace. I ordered my bobber in September 2017 and picked her up early in November with some black additions already in place. I christened her TBob; not very creative, but the name just seemed to stick. I enjoyed her daily in the lead up to Christmas before stripping her naked to have her tins livened up a little. I've just picked up the tins from the Paint Doctor.
Looking forward to reassembling her shortly. New brake parts are on order too, but may take a little longer to arrive. I imagine she'll continue to evolve over time as I add some more personal touches and the good folk here on the forum continue to provide inspiration and ideas.

First day....

Welcome Trace, I've been admiring your boots they're lovely. Are there a lot of snakes in your neighborhood?

maybe little black paint on the back of the license plate, it would be immediately more discreet.

Hi Chico and MikeB, there are indeed a few snakes in my neighborhood, some crocs too, though the boots are more for saving my shins from oncoming traffic on the gravel roads

Good idea... the rear fender is being replaced with the short version, so I'll reassess it when I get it mounted up again. A little stealth paint to deflect radar would be an even better idea

I do not know how it happens in Australia, but I guess it's about the same as in France
