Hedonist & Headsets

Hi all,

I caved and bought a Cado Packtalk Slim, but I have a problem (at least as far as I can tell) because I have a Hedon Hedonist helmet.

The installation seems pretty straight forward if your helmet liner comes out, but the Hedonist liner DOES NOT COME OUT.

So, anyone have any ideas of how to install one without a removable liner?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
H

Sorry I canít be of more help, but with all my retro style helmets I use in-ear speakers (flare pro audio).
For the short time I had my Hedons, I could not figure out a way of getting a comm system in without ruining the liner or scratching the (stunning!) paintwork. So I just always use in-ears.

Granted, i didnít try too hard to find a solution as in the back of my mind I knew the comm would ruin the sleek lines of the helmet.

Damnit, now I'm worried I just purchased something I can't really use.

Guess I could attach it to a cheap Bilt helmet I have....but I'm gutted.

Donít be. You have THE best looking retro helmet ever made !

Enjoy wearing it and Iím kind of glad you didnít take a knife to that stunning interior.

Hedon would be wise to make a completely hidden comm system like on the SCHUBERTH C4; retro, luxury and comms all rolled into one crazy expensive package. But Iím pretty sure theyíd still sell well...

That Hedons don’t have audio speaker pockets is one reason I haven’t bought one. The other was wrapping my head around $900 for the full face helmet, as beautiful as they are. Great to look at though.

I've ended up cutting into my budget Bilt helmet for now. At some point I'll get another helmet which supports this unit.

My Hedon will now be for shorter trips. Sucks.
