HELP..Drip/Leak...?

Hi Gents,

My bike has been sat out in the hot sun for a few hours after a morning ride. I just noted this small leak/drip which I think (?) smells like fuel (could be wrong bad sense of smell) and looks like it might be coming from where you see the arrow.

I'm due to go out in an hour or so to a bike event, so any help asap would be greatly appreciated.???

Cheers,

Roy

Roy, take some pics of the meet, particularly of the HD guys drooling over your Bobber.

Left out in the sun all day, the fuel will expand and it needs to go somewhere - so the breather hose takes care of that and youíll notice drips on the floor coming from the black rubber hose you pictured.
I believe itís correct name is EVAP system.

Thanks Guys,

Just goes to prove I'm no mechanic...

Yes will get my wife to bring a camera (no we don't have smart phones ).

It's a free pizza night at a local bar put on by a V-Twin specialist. Really good guys that have worked on my bike a number of times. I did a Face Book video testimonial the other week for them, will see if I can get a link posted, although no idea how to do that tech stuff. If anyone who is on FB can go grab it and work out how to do that, happy to share it here on the forum. It's for Blue Collar Customs AZ. You can't miss me or my bike..

Cheerio,

Roy
