Ok how does pod filters affect the running of the bike?

This is always a fun debate. I tend to side with the “stock is best” crowd given the engineering that went into building the airbox and airflow. If pods were better, wouldn’t engineers have stuck them on the bike? Having said that, pod filters are sexy.

Pods looks cool and sound awesome when accelerating. Buuuut, I'm always concerned about them when I get caught in the rain, even with the kn rain socks I have for my fs filters. There is a noticeable delay in power now. The torque is still there, just higher up in rpm.
You'll need to cover the fuses and wiring. Either make your own, or buy the viba cover for $$$$.

Just completed this project 2 weeks ago, I don't really see any performance difference...just looks!
